Logistics

Race morning — Roads into Wallers close hours before the race. Plan to arrive by 09:00 at the latest, even though the peloton arrives much later.
Transit — There is no useful public transit to mid-sector. You either arrive by car (and park well outside) or by bike.

Closures — All forest access roads close several hours before the race window.
Parking — Park in Valenciennes or Saint-Amand-les-Eaux and walk/cycle in. Trying to drive close to the sector on race day fails.
Weather — April in northern France: rain, mud, cold. Bring waterproofs even if forecast is dry.
