Where to spectate, what to do after the finish line.
Best all-around zone for athletes who want to walk to the start, expo, finish, and many restaurants. This is the premium convenience play and the most race-immersive area.
A strong balance of convenience and price, with easy walking access to the race core and lots of dining options. Good for athletes traveling without a car and supporters wanting flexibility.
Staying across the river can provide quieter lodging and sometimes better value, but race-morning planning depends on bridge access and closure timing. Good tradeoff for travelers who want some separation from the race bubble.
Budget and chain-hotel option for those driving in, but it adds commute risk on race morning and is much less immersive. Best only if central Vichy is sold out or overpriced.
