The most atmospheric base between Playa Mansa and Playa Brava, with dense dining, harbor walks and strong appeal for supporters. Race operations have used Punta del Este’s waterfront, but verify the current swim, transition and closure locations because access around the peninsula can be restricted.
A residential-hotel district just inland from Playa Brava, balancing beach access with a calmer night’s sleep than the peninsula core. Verify where athletes must enter transition and whether coastal closures leave a practical walking route from the chosen property.
A sunset-facing beachfront area with condos and family-friendly stays, generally calmer than Brava and useful for groups wanting kitchens and space. The zone stretches considerably, so verify the exact race site and closure-controlled crossings before assuming the whole Mansa strip is equally convenient.
