Where to spectate, what to do after the finish line.
Best all-around base for athletes who want to walk to the finish area, race village, and often transition-related activities. Limited inventory means rooms can book quickly on race weekend.
Practical hotel cluster with easier parking and chain-hotel convenience, but less atmosphere and more dependence on driving into the race core.
Small-town stay just south of Augusta with more character, local dining, and a calmer feel. Good for supporters and athletes who do not mind a short drive or rideshare.
Broader lodging backup north of Augusta with additional hotels when the host city fills up. Better for budget flexibility than for race-morning convenience.
