Documents & registration

  • Photo ID (passport or national ID)
  • Registration QR code — emailed during race week; save it offline
  • Triathlon licence — or buy a one-day licence at registration
  • Registration: Thu 10:00–18:00 · Fri 10:00–16:00 · Sat 10:00–14:00, IRONMAN Village, Amager Strandpark

Bike & tools

  • Bike serviced; tyres checked for cuts, wear and correct pressure
  • Stickers on bike (seat post), helmet and all bags
  • Floor pump — hand to a supporter race morning or leave marked at the designated spot before 07:15 (not allowed in any bag); pumps are also provided in transition
  • Bike + Blue/Red bag check-in: Saturday 11:00–18:00 at T1

Transition bags (split transition)

  • BLUE bike bag — helmet, sunglasses, bike shoes (unless clipped), socks, bib; accessible race morning for nutrition
  • RED run bag — run shoes, cap. NOT accessible race morning: final by Saturday
  • WHITE street-wear bag — post-race clothes, towel, dry shoes; hand over race morning at T1 (05:00–07:15)
  • Personal-needs bags (optional) — nothing valuable, they're discarded

Race morning (Sunday)

  • T1 open 05:00–07:15 — go early; the road closes at 06:00
  • Metro M2 to Amager Strand or Femøren — don't drive
  • Timing chip on (issued at bike check-in), swim cap from registration
  • Rolling start 07:00–07:45 — your time starts at the swim-entry mat

Supporter essentials

  • 12-hour event travel ticket (30/60 DKK) via the Rejsebillet app
  • IRONMAN Tracker app installed, athlete's bib number saved
  • Power bank per adult — a full tracking day flattens a phone
  • Layers/rain shell — it's a long day outdoors, on the coast and in town

Finish & reunion

  • Agree a fixed reunion point near (not at) the finish exit at Christiansborg — plus a fallback plan
  • Post-race clothing in the WHITE bag — returned at the After-Finish area
  • Bike + bag collection: T2, Kongens Nytorv, 16:00–23:45 — wristband, race number and timing chip required; everything out by 23:45

48 hours before

  • Screenshot the registration QR code; download the tracker app and offline maps
  • Buy the race-day transport ticket in the Rejsebillet app
  • Charge phone and power bank
  • Confirm the reunion point and the bike-collection plan
  • Check official weather and race updates; confirm the RED bag is final
